The 6-unit Pre-MathCounts Preparation Group Classes will run weekly starting November 2025 to help accepted students in grades 4-5 learn and practice vital math skills for the middle school MathCounts competition.

This is a 6 unit class.
Class Length: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Format: Online via Zoom (link will be shared with participants after registration)
Class Start Date: November 24th, 2025
Schedule: Mondays from 6 PM to 7:15 PM
Total Seats: 4
Fee Structure: $35 per student per class
Payment details will be shared after registration.
Class Dates:
November 2025: 24
December 2025: 1, 8, 15, 22
January 2025: break - no classes will be held during this month
February 2025: Weekly classes resume February 9th

The student should meet the following prerequisites:
In grades 4 - 5 (exceptions for younger students made by invitation and math level)
Has successfully completed content covered in AoPS Prealgebra 1
Currently enrolled in/ has successfully completed content covered in AoPS Prealgebra 2
The student is regularly expected to make time for the following:
Homework: 3 - 5 hours per week
Attendance: Consistent attendance is expected and required
Missing more than two classes without prior notice will result in the student forfeiting their seat to the next student on the waiting list

Students will be expected to purchase a book for the class following registration.
