Anshul Rastogi coached two students who subsequently became NH State MATHCOUNTS champions. In 2021, he served as NH MATHCOUNTS State Team Leader and was a three-time MATHCOUNTS National Competitor, scoring in the top 25% in 2019. He scored in the top 1% nationally on the AMC 8 (2017, 2018) and is a four-time AIME qualifier. He is a 2024 UConn Stuart Sidney Mathematics Competition Beginner Division Top Scorer.
Hobbies: In his spare time, Anshul enjoys reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, writing short fiction and poetry, playing chess, drawing, and digital painting.

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '19, '20
Garima Rastogi was the official coach to a student that made it to the NH State MATHCOUNTS team. Garima represented NH at the MATHCOUNTS Nationals Competition as the State Champion in 2019 and 2020. She was the highest scoring individual on the NH State Math Team at the ARML competition in Penn State in 2018. She also placed in the top 1% nationally on the AMC 8 test in her middle school and is a 5x AIME qualifier.
Hobbies: In her free time, she likes to bake, read, and play the violin.
MATHCOUNTS Nationals '21, '22
In 2024, Vaibhav Rastogi scored 9/10 on the ARML, placing him in the top 20 nationally. He is a four-time AIME qualifier and a two-time MATHCOUNTS Nationals competitor, where he was the State Champion in 2021. Vaibhav also achieved a perfect score on the AMC 8 in 2022 and secured first place in the MathGenius competition in 2019 with a perfect score. He is the president of his math team which has scored first place at the WPI invitational math meet, and first in the state for its division.
Hobbies: He spends his spare time rowing, reading, cooking, and engineering.

Abhijeet Sambangi was captain of the 2014 Middle School National Science Bowl Champions and placed 2nd in the 2015 U.S. National Brain Bee. During high school he led product design for team competitions, winning a Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam Grant and placing 3rd in the 2016 TiE Global Competition. He was accepted into the Penn State/Jefferson BS/MD Program and completed his bachelor’s within two years, after which he spent a year performing bench research at Harvard. At SKMC (Jefferson), Abhi continues publishing in both clinical and bench research while serving as Vice President of Jefferson’s AANS chapter (neurosurgery interest group). He hopes to become a surgeon specializing in trauma or minimally invasive surgery.
Hobbies: Abhi loves carnivorous plants, especially VFTs (venus flytraps). He also enjoys discovering new recipes to cook, vibing to a variety of music genres, and practicing yoga or going to the gym.

Aniruddh ranked 6th in the 2025 MATHCOUNTS State Competition for the state of NH, additionally he was also one of the top scorers in his group for ARML. He also received a Honorable Mention on the 2025 AMC 8. He has competed in many other notable math competitions such as Purple Comet, MOAA, LMT, Math Kangaroo and AMC 10. He plans to continue journey in math in high school and college.
Hobbies: Apart from math Aniruddh is part of a swim team and regularly competes in competitions around NH. In his spare time he enjoys reading fantasy novels and playing video games.
Electrical Engineering, MIT '29
Akpandu Ekezie went to the Science Olympiad National Tournaments in 2024 and 2025, placing 3rd in Microbe Mission, 10th in Wind Power, and 8th in Forestry. He also placed 4th in Microbe Mission at the MIT Invitational in 2025. He was the vice president of his Science Olympiad team, leading them to place in the top third of teams nationally in 2025. Akpandu also competed in the Chemistry Olympiad, advancing to the national section and doing the best in his region. Additionally, he placed 2nd in the beginner team round of the UPenn Math Contest. In his spare time, Akpandu plays ping pong, bakes, rock climbs, and identifies trees outside.

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '24
Samarth Sharma is a student at Nashua High School South with a strong passion for mathematics and years of experience in competitive math since middle school. He qualified for the 2024 MATHCOUNTS National Competition and placed 2nd in the New Hampshire State competition. He also ranked in the top 5% nationally on the AMC 8 and has qualified for AIME multiple times. Beyond competitions, Samarth explores mathematics through research, having participated in the MIT PRIMES STEP program, where he co-authored and presented his work. He has also competed in Math Kangaroo, NH SMASH, NEML, and ARML.
Outside of math, he is involved in FTC Robotics, teaches Hindi and Indian culture at Shishu Bharati, and competes in Science Bowl.
Hobbies: In his spare time, he enjoys reading, listening to Indian music, and playing tennis for his school, along with table tennis, soccer, and cricket with friends.

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '24
Arjun Kaushik is currently a student from New Hampshire who represented his state at the 2024 MATHCOUNTS National Competition. Arjun placed 2nd within the NH team at Nationals and he has also competed in other notable math competitions such as the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) 8 and 10. Arjun hopes to pursue his passion for math throughout high school and beyond.
Hobbies: In his free time, Arjun likes to listen to music, read fiction, play basketball, watch the Patriots play football and the Celtics play basketball, and create music in different forms.

Arthur has qualified for the 2025 MATHCOUNTS Nationals Competition, in
addition to scoring in the top 5% on the 2024 and 2025 AMC 8 competitions. He has also participated and will continue to
participate in math competitions such as the EMCC, MOAA, LMT, and the AMC series. He plans to pursue STEM throughout high school and university.
Hobbies: In his spare time, Arthur likes to read books, watch the news, play chess, and listen to music.
Nitin Anand is has participated in math competitions like Math Olympiad and MATHCOUNTS. He ranked at the global level in the Destination Imagination STEAM competition and enjoys helping others. He has had prior experience teaching students. He hopes to pursue a career in the medical field after high school.
Hobbies: In his spare time, he enjoys reading fantasy novels, watching football, spending time with his family, and playing tabla and piano.
MIT '28
Major: AI and Decision-Making, Biology
Laurie Wang is a student at MIT studying biology and AI. She placed Top 75 nationally twice in Biology Olympiad and qualified for USABO Semifinals every year she competed. Additionally, she competed extensively in Science Olympiad, where she was the state champion for events like Anatomy & Physiology, Cell Biology, and Disease Detectives. She was also in a Top 8 team at the National Science Bowl. In her free time, Laurie enjoys art, poker, and reading.

Major: Political Science and Criminal Justice
Sumana is a Political Science and Criminal Justice double major with a focus in law. She is the recipient of the Presidential Leadership Award from the NH Education Alliance and the Emerging Leader Award from New England College, recognizing her skills in writing, civic engagement, and political organizing. She is the founder and director of Law Between the Lines, a podcast for which she writes, edits, and records weekly episodes breaking down complex topics in politics and government. She also works as a legal intern and research assistant, where strong writing and clear argumentation are part of her daily work.
Hobbies: In her spare time, Sumana enjoys writing stories, playing the guitar and piano, and painting.
