MATHCOUNTS Nationals '21, '22

Vaibhav Rastogi received High Honors in Math from Center for Talented Youth at Johns Hopkins University. He placed first in the MathGenius competition by achieving a perfect score in 2019 and is a 3x AIME qualifier. A two-time MATHCOUNTS Nationals competitor, in 2021 he was the State Champion for MATHCOUNTS. Additionally, Vaibhav perfect-scored the AMC 8 in 2022. 

Hobbies: He spends his spare time flying drones, making salads, creating plant-based recipes, and programming.

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '19, '20

Garima Rastogi was the official coach to a student that made it to the NH State MATHCOUNTS team. Garima represented NH at the MATHCOUNTS Nationals Competition as the State Champion in 2019 and 2020. She was the highest scoring individual on the NH State Math Team at the ARML competition in Penn State in 2018. She also placed in the top 1% nationally on the AMC 8 test in her middle school and is a 5x AIME qualifier. 

Hobbies: In her free time, she likes to bake, read, and play the violin.

Anshul

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '17, '18, '19

Anshul Rastogi coached two students who subsequently became NH State MATHCOUNTS champions. In 2021, he served as NH MATHCOUNTS State Team Leader and was a three-time MATHCOUNTS National Competitor, scoring in the top 25% in 2019. He scored in the top 1% nationally on the AMC 8 (2017, 2018) and is a four-time AIME qualifier. He is a 2024 UConn Stuart Sidney Mathematics Competition Beginner Division Top Scorer.

Hobbies: In his spare time, Anshul enjoys reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, writing short fiction and poetry, playing chess, drawing, and digital painting.

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '22

Ryan Casey was the 2022 MATHCOUNTS New Hampshire State Champion. He placed in the top 1% nationally in the 2022 AMC 8. He has perfect-scored both the MOEMS and CML competitions, and he received the George Lenchner Award for perfect-scoring MOEMS. 

Hobbies: In his spare time, he enjoys reading books and playing basketball, soccer, and chess.

Omkar

Major: Mathematics

Major: Computer Science & Engineering

Omkar is a rising sophomore at UConn pursuing a dual degree in math and computer science. In high school, he represented CT at ARML nationals. At UConn, Omkar was the second-highest scorer in the nationally ranked 2023 William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition with a score of 12. Also, he was the top scorer in the Intermediate Division of the 2024 Stuart Sidney Mathematics Competition. He also serves as the Treasurer of UConn's Math Club and the Secretary of UConn's Chess Club. He strives to get a Ph.D. in mathematics and become a professor someday.

Hobbies: He loves long-distance running (both XC and Track) and yoga, and in his spare time, he plays chess (1800 USCF).

Sumana

Sumana has participated in math competitions such as MATHCOUNTS and Math Olympiad throughout her school career. She ranked in the national level for the Young Inventors STEM competition and enjoys teaching and mentoring. At her school, she is involved in various leadership programs such as the CTE Ambassadors, Educators Rising, in addition to starting her own club to promote inclusivity. She hopes to pursue a future career in education after high school.

Hobbies: In her spare time, she enjoys reading fantasy novels, writing stories, painting and sketching, and has a love for the theater.

Nitin

Nitin Anand is has participated in math competitions like Math Olympiad and MATHCOUNTS. He ranked at the global level in the Destination Imagination STEAM competition and enjoys helping others. He has had prior experience teaching students. He hopes to pursue a career in the medical field after high school.

Hobbies: In his spare time, he enjoys reading fantasy novels, watching football, spending time with his family, and playing tabla and piano.

Samarth

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '24

Samarth has qualified for the 2024 MATHCOUNTS National Competition. He placed 2nd in the 2024 NH State competition. He was also placed in the top 5% nationally on the 2024 AMC 8. Additionally, he has participated in other competitions such as Math Kangaroo, ABMC and LMT. 


Hobbies: In his spare time, he enjoys reading, listening to Indian music and playing soccer and cricket with his friends.

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '24

Arjun Kaushik is currently a student from New Hampshire who represented his state at the 2024 MATHCOUNTS National Competition. Arjun placed 2nd within the NH team at Nationals and he has also competed in other notable math competitions such as the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) 8 and 10. Arjun hopes to pursue his passion for math throughout high school and beyond.


Hobbies: In his free time, Arjun likes to listen to music, read fiction, play basketball, watch the Patriots play football and the Celtics play basketball, and create music in different forms.


Pratham

MATHCOUNTS Nationals '21, '22

Pratham Mukewar is a rising junior attending Nashua South High School. He represented New Hampshire in 2021 and 2022 at National MathCounts (ranked top 20% in 2022 National MathCounts). Additionally, he was the assistant coach for the NH National MathCounts Team in 2023 and 2024. He has been participating in the AMC competitions for the past 5 years and is a 4-time AIME qualifier. He got first place in the NH SMASH competition in his freshman and sophomore years. He has also been successful in various other science, programming, and math competitions. He enjoys tutoring students (especially in math) and has been doing it for three years now. 

Hobbies: In his free time, he enjoys playing chess, computer programming, and swimming.
