It depends. Private coaching can be incredibly valuable — most students benefit from the focused attention, accountability, and personalized guidance it provides. But it’s not for everyone.
Coaching only works if the student is:
Coachable – open to feedback and willing to learn
Committed – ready to put in consistent effort
Trusting – willing to follow the coach’s process without constant doubt
If a student isn’t ready to do the work, keeps second-guessing their coach, or isn’t open to being guided, even the best program won’t help.
When the student is ready, though — the results can be remarkable.
The class units represent how many hours the student is expected to spend in and out of class doing classwork per week. So, a 6 unit class where the meeting time is 2 hours indicate that the student has about 4 hours of homework a week (it may take the student slightly longer to finish homework as this is a general estimate). Our classes tend to range anywhere from 2-7 units, with more intense summer bootcamp type classes perhaps reaching into the double digits.
Please ensure that the student has at least as many hours as indicated on the class page to dedicate to the class before enrolling them for it.
