The Rastogi Mathemagicians Summer Bootcamp is an intensive, three week long program running through June/July (exact dates TBD) designed for advanced middle school and high school students who are serious about mathematical problem solving. With only eight seats, our program offers a highly personalized environment focused on contest mathematics, including preparation for competitions such as AMC, MATHCOUNTS, ARML, HMMT, EMCC, and Purple Comet. Students will engage deeply with the core areas of mathematics (combinatorics, algebra, number theory, and geometry) while developing rigorous proof-writing skills and, more importantly, genuine mathematical intuition. The teaching philosophy emphasizes learning through doing: students will spend significant time grappling with challenging problems, revisiting ideas, and extracting insight from struggle and intuition nudges rather than memorizing techniques. Just as important as the content is the meta-skill of learning how to learn and how to approach unfamiliar problems, think creatively under pressure, and build persistence. The small, like-minded cohort will foster collaboration, discussion, and the kind of mathematical maturity that comes from being surrounded by equally driven peers. Tuition and dates will be announced in May.
